There’s just no better way to celebrate a first birthday than with a cake smash photoshoot
You can book a cake smash as far in advance as you like, and booking early means that you’ll have something amazing and fun to look forward to, with plenty of time to get your ducks in a row – like booking the time off work, for instance, so you get to enjoy this special time with your baby.
You might decide that you’d like to have the photo session on or close to your baby’s actual birthday, which is a lovely idea and makes the day even more special and memorable. Â
Or another very popular option is to book a date a few weeks before their big day –Â so that you’ll have the photographs back in time and ready to display or share with family and friends at the birthday party.
Whichever date you’re aiming for, we strongly recommend that you book your session date eight weeks in advance of the date you’re aiming for.
Cake Smash & Birthday Packages
Cake Smash photo sessions can be booked for first birthdays only.
Non Smash Birthday Sessions can be booked in the studio for ages 1 – 6 years.Â
Prices for these are shown below.
Non Studio photoshoots are also available to celebrate anyone’s birthday, whatever their age.
Choose from at your home, at a party venue or an outdoor shoot.Â

Signature Cake Smash & Splash
– A professional photography session at my studio with non smash (this part can include parent/siblings), smash & splash photoshoots
– A professional Cake* is provided
– Access to an online gallery to view, download and keep all 50+ – Professionally edited digital images via digital download with printing rights
–A beautiful collage designed, printed and framed for you showcasing up to 16 of your favourite images. Supplied ready to go on your wall.Â
–A personalised mobile gallery app, to easily view your images on your phone forever
–A downloadable slideshow of images set to music
-£25 non refundable deposit taken at the time of booking
*Unfortunately the cake cannot be supplied where baby has any food allergies, in which case you must bring a cake along on the day, and we’ll take £25 off the package cost.

Classic Cake Smash / Splash
 – A professional photography session at my studio with non smash (this part can include parent/siblings) and cake smash photoshootsÂ
– Option to add the bubble bath (splash) photoshoot for £50
– 15 images of your choice via digital download with printing rights
– Option to upgrade to add extra photos for £99
– Wall art and prints available as add ons

Birthday Packages (non smash)
Birthday Photo sessions are available at my studio for ages 1 to 6 years.
These do not involve getting messy with a cake smash.
– A professional photography sessionÂ
– 1 standard backdrop (eg white) + 1 themed drop (eg coloured or printed drop)
– 15 images via digital download with printing rights.
– Option to upgrade to add extra photos for £99
– Wall art and prints available as add ons
-£25 non refundable deposit taken at the time of booking.

A non refundable deposit of £25 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment, with the remaining balance due one week before the shoot date.Â
If you would like to spread the cost, please ask me about my ‘pre shoot’ instalment plan when you can pay in smaller payments leading up to the session.
I STRUCK GOLD
I feel like I struck gold when I found Jane’s cake smash studio. What a difference to other places I’ve been in the past – with four children I’ve been to quite a few – and these are by far the most beautiful photos I’ve ever had taken. Can’t wait to book some of the mini sessions next
